Blessed to have been invited by Jesmond Siew (The Band Lab) to be on the faculty for SIBOfest 2024! What a joy teaching a fabulous group of young saxophonists from both Malaysia and Japan! I was inspired and had my eyes open through this festival. It was 3 days of workshops, activities, sectionals, full band @ Lodge Secondary School, followed by a last day: the Finale Gala Concert at the super prestigious DUN Sarawak. What a treat to play in such an iconic and historical location. A core memory that will last a lifetime!
